TOKYO – Hoshimachi Suisei's new Halloween single will be heard in public for the first time at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku. The tower will hold "Hoshimachi Suisei × Tokyu Kabukicho Tower 'KABUKICHO STELLAR TOWER'" from Friday, Oct. 23, to Sunday, Nov. 8.
Zombie Zombie Zombie

"Zombie Zombie Zombie" (ゾンビゾンビゾンビ) is a digital-only single that arrives at 0:00 JST on Oct. 24. natori (なとり) wrote the lyrics, composed it and arranged it. It is his second song for Suisei, following "Moonlight" (ムーンライト) in October 2024, which he also wrote, composed and arranged. The new single arrives about two years after that.
The song uses zombies as a motif for the numbness and closed-in feeling of modern life. A heavy dance beat and a strongly affirmative message cut through that feeling. It is a Halloween-season dance track rather than a horror song.
natori said he wrote it as a song about never giving up your own choices to anything that tries to take them away. He said those choices are precious and belong to each person alone.
The jacket is a new illustration by Akiya Lemon Sour (アキヤレモンサワー). It is a comic-style close-up of Suisei with star-shaped pupils, one eye narrowed and a small fang showing. The title runs across the top in dripping, slime-green katakana. A music video is planned for release day, but its director and length have not been announced.
Hear it a day early
Visitors can hear the song on Oct. 23, before streaming begins. It will play as background music inside Tokyu Kabukicho Tower from opening day, alongside other Suisei songs. It will be the world's first chance to hear the song.
