iOS 18.2: Apple's New AI Image Magic

In iOS 18.2, Apple introduces Image Creation to its platforms. You can now create images within the system using Image Playground, Genmoji, and Image Wand.
Image Playground
You are able to craft custom images from textual descriptions. Image Playground offers a range of built-in themes, costumes, accessories, and locations to enhance your creations. You can begin with a textual description, select a theme, or even use an existing photo as a starting point. The platform provides two style options: Animation and Illustration. Additionally, you can create an image based on a real person. For instance, you can choose a theme and then upload a photo of a city. This will generate multiple images based on the chosen theme (you can also scroll to request more).

Image Playground can be utilized in the dedicated app, within Notes.

Genmoji
Genmoji lets you create personal emoji that truly capture your mood or moment. If you want an emoji that looks like your best friend or an emoji that perfectly represents a unique situation, you can create a new emoji with a few words now. Click the "Create Genmoji" button of the emojis keyboard, start with a few words that describe your idea or choose someone you know as starting point. These custom emojis work everywhere - from iMessage to Instagram.

Image Wand
Image Wand can help you convert your rough sketch into Image in Notes app. You can begin by drawing a circle around an empty space to create a new image inspired by your note. Alternatively, you can circle a rough sketch with Image Wand to generate a related image. For instance, you could draw an apple and use Image Wand to create a stunning image.
