HEYTEA Lands in Sheung Wan
New matcha moment is brewing at Infinitus Plaza — go try it for free
By Matthew H.
HEYTEA has quietly arrived in Sheung Wan. The Chinese tea chain — known across Hong Kong for its signature cheese-topped teas and premium matcha creations — has soft-opened its newest location at Infinitus Plaza, and it is currently offering free samples of its latest drink, the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte, to anyone who wanders in. No orders, no queues, no bill — just a small cup and a moment to pause.
The drink itself is a considered piece of craft. Built on 1000-mesh-ground matcha blended into HEYTEA's original Cheese Cloud foam, the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte layers a matcha cloud top over real dairy milk, a hand-whipped matcha mochi, and freshly made matcha jelly at the base — all sweetened with pure cane sugar and free from artificial creamers or flavourings. It is, in short, three expressions of matcha in one 500mL cup, priced at HKD 39 when the store opens in full.

The Sheung Wan location leans into a sensibility that fits the neighbourhood — a quieter, more considered corner of Hong Kong Island where a gazebo-style space invites you to sit, hold a warm (or iced) cup, and let the city slow down around you. If you find yourself on a citywalk through the area this week, it is worth a detour.
