VSPO! to Light Up Hong Kong Victoria Harbour with First Drone Show

VSPO! will stage its first large-scale drone show over Victoria Harbour on August 18, a one-night-only event set for 19:00 (GMT+8) at Wan Chai Harbourfront Promenade. The performance will illuminate the sky with light formations depicting all 25 members of the Japanese esports VTuber group's roster, organizers announced via Starime's official social media accounts.

The show will run in two consecutive sets, with further scheduling details to be announced closer to the date. Admission is free and no reservation is required, with Wan Chai Harbourfront Promenade recommended as the best viewing spot to take in the display over the harbour.

The drone show builds on VSPO!'s broader Hong Kong and Taipei collaboration campaign, which also includes its first overseas pop-up cafe, "Sail Beyond! ~駛向更遠的彼方~," running from August 19 to September 16 at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, with a Taipei cafe venue still being finalized. A teaser trailer for the cafe has already previewed its themed menu items and character artwork, giving fans an early look at the atmosphere ahead of the opening.

Both the drone show and the cafe form part of VSPO!'s first international collaboration project, marking the group's debut large-scale activities outside Japan. Additional details on the cafe's food lineup, reservation process, and merchandise are expected to be released progressively through Starime's official Instagram and X accounts in the coming weeks.
