Fans of Hatsune Miku have an exciting new destination in Tokyo. Acclaimed illustrator Eko iXima, celebrated for creating iconic package artwork and official collaboration visuals for Miku and the Piapro Characters, has opened their very first solo exhibition. Titled "Hatsune Miku and Eko iXima's Mixed Media Exhibition," the event runs from Saturday, August 22 through Sunday, September 6, 2026, at PARCO FACTORY on the seventh floor of Ikebukuro PARCO.
Designed entirely by iXima, the venue spans five themed rooms engineered to blur the boundary between digital creation and physical art, bringing visitors closer to the virtual singer's world.
Five Immersive Exhibition Rooms
The journey begins in the "Prehistory of Mixed Media" room, which gathers iXima's celebrated Hatsune Miku illustrations alongside rare archival merchandise.
Visitors then move into the main "Mixed Media" room, where digital artwork is transformed into three dimensional installations that make visitors feel as though they have stepped directly inside a painting.
The experience continues into the third room, "Mixed Media B-Side," and the fourth room, "Magical Idol," both highlighting brand new illustrations created specifically for this exhibition. The "Magical Idol" room is a centerpiece attraction, showcasing mixed media pieces where iXima individually hand-painted each facial expression against custom collage backdrops.
The walkthrough concludes in the "Other Works" room, presenting beloved past illustrations reproduced across diverse printing techniques.
Original Artworks and Made-to-Order Prints
Beyond the walk-through galleries, the event includes a dedicated shop selling event-exclusive goods as well as rare, one-of-a-kind original artworks and high-end reproduction prints.
The exhibition is offering four unique original display pieces for purchase, each personally detailed by iXima:
Picture in Picture: Listening (Picture in Picture:聴く)
Magical Idol: White (Magical Idol:白)
Magical Idol: Miku (Magical Idol:ミク)
A Minor Explosion Accompanying the Crossing into the Third Dimension (三次元への越境に伴う小規模な爆発)
Fans can also order special reproduction prints featuring multi-layer printing on acrylic, with online orders open through September 30 at 23:59 JST. The reproduction lineup includes "Mixed Media," "Picture in Picture: Binding" (Picture in Picture:結ぶ), "Magical Idol: Black" (Magical Idol:黒), and "Mixed Media B-Side." Every original and reproduction print comes with an official certificate of authenticity featuring iXima's handwritten signature and a serial number.

Admission to the exhibition is free, though advance reservations are required via LivePocket to manage venue capacity.
